Allcare is proud to launch a new innovative insurance product - The Sports Protection Plan Policy which  is a tailor-made policy specifically designed for Athletes being members of Sports Clubs and Sports Associations affiliated with the Maltese Olympic Committee. This plan provides a combination of three insurance products under one policy – Health, Travel and Personal Accident Insurance.  This plan  provides a very wide coverage  in terms of Health Insurance targeting specifically medical treatments which could be more prone to athletes … like  MRI, CT Scans, Physiotherapy ect.. , so this plan provides HIGHER BENEFITS than what is provided under a normal Health policy and  at  extremely  competitive premiums. 

There are four levels of protection branded as Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Cover. Bronze being the lowest level of protection and Platinum being the highest level of cover available.  A pertinent point to note is that the Health Insurance cover is a 24 hour cover , covering the athlete not only when he/she is practicing his/her sport,  and the member can also opt to include also his immediate family under the scheme.   This cover is a new concept to the local Insurance  market .

There are also a number of other benefits FREE OF CHARGE to persons joining this scheme (like discounts on their personal Motor and Home policies).  Special benefits are applicable to members joining this scheme by the 30th June 2008
