Travel Claims

When claiming under your TravelEasy policy, it is essential to refer to your schedule attached to the policy document. Within the schedule one will find the particular limits of indemnity and excesses in case of a claim.

In case of a loss, the following points are to be important for the successful settlement of a claim:

  • Baggage Claims – In case of lost/damaged suitcases, a report is to be filed with the respective airline immediately. Upon returning to Malta, a copy of such a report, your passport, original airline and baggage tickets as well as any receipts (in case of lost property) are to be presented at our offices when lodging a claim.
  • In case of stolen property, a police report must be presented for a claim to be entertained.
  • Cancellation Claims – If you need to cancel your trip and pursue a claim for unrecoverable payments effected for your holiday, you are kindly requested to inform us by telephone, email or by calling personally at our offices as soon as possible. Our claim handlers will then be able to guide you according to your particular circumstances.
  • Other Types of Claims – In case of any other type of claim under your travel policy, it is important to notify us of your loss as soon as possible so that we may provide you with our immediate assistance.
  • Receipts, medical certificates and any other documents which may help to support your claim should always be kept readily available should we need them for the successful processing of your claim.
