In the case of a claim under your motor policy, you should notify us of your accident immediately.

A Front-to-Rear form should always be kept in your vehicle and in case of a bumper to bumper collision such a form may be completed instead of lodging a formal report with local wardens or the police. It is important to note that in case of head-on collisions this form is not applicable and local wardens must be called on scene.

Should the accident involve any injuries, the police must be contacted.

When local wardens or the police are called on scene, it is essential that you do not move your vehicle until photos have been taken and a sketch is duly completed. This will be critical in defending your interests should conflicting versions be presented by different parties.

It is also very important to take the other party’s personal details and the names and contact numbers of any witnesses are also obtained. At no point in time, should you accept any liability for damages.
